Time

Exhibited in 2023 at Family of Things located in Omaha Nebraska

A series of collage work exploring the theme of time and its unique impact on individuals. While time may progress linearly, it effects are not the same for everyone. My goal is to convey the idea that time is intertwined and can sometimes move backwards, represented by the disorganized yarn connecting the pieces during installation. I hope to prompt viewers to reflect on their own place in time - where they are in history, what has changed, what remains the same, and what needs to change. How does this affect their mental and physical state? Are they moving forward or backward?

Each collage consists of: Acrylic paint, Wheat Flour, Magazines, Broken Jewelry, Glitter and Elmer's Glue on 10 x 8 inch canvas.
